Warning, Pictures overload ahead!

It's 9.30pm and sofea is here sitting next to me playing wif herself. Yea, a tad late for e little fella to be awake *sigh* well it just means mommy can't finish her office work or sit down to watch tv or haf a proper dinner. I've been trying to put her down for sleep since 7.30pm. As usual she would roll around the bed after breastfeeding to find a comfortable spot. Only this time, she got tired, opened her eyes and stared at me with a huge cheeky grin as if to say 'sorry mommy, i cant sleep. Come, lets play'

But sofea sleeping or not, i told myself today i must blog. So many things to pen down before anything escapes my mind

1st n foremost, we had our 1st overseas holiday as a family of 3 to bangkok and sofea's virgin plane ride! We loved bangkok esp e shopping and vowed to return wif a vengence.

Of course, you might think this is Sofea's 1st holiday. Let me tell u.. this is her 4th holiday since birth. Yes, 4 holidays within 7 months! And she probably had 5 trips to JB. Lucky kid! I've ever read her horoscope somewhere which stated that a 5th Oct Libra loves to travel!

The 1st holiday she went to was KL/Cherating @ 2 months with Uncle Hakim and Aunty Zuli..

The 2nd Holiday was to KL also but only with mommy & abah during mommy's bday..

The 3rd holiday was to KL AGAIN coz Uncle Hakim missed eating Tony Romas.

One thing for sure., I'm not leaving my kids behind when i go for holidays! I was taken aback initially when wan's mom suggested we leave behind sofea with her while we go enjoy. There's no way i'm going to enjoy my holiday thinking about my little darling every few minutes. I'll go mad! And i believe Sofea too needs her mommy. Besides no one shd be left behind as we r a family.

Of course, I have friends who have holidays without their kids and i can fully understand why. It's a hassle especially when you have to lug a kid, diapers, toys, food, sippy cup, wet tissues , pram on top of everything else. And if u're going to Bangkok, it's not a baby-friendly place. We have not come across high-chairs in all the places we dine. Let's not even talk abt nursing rooms.

Being a virgin plane ride, I have to say i do not know what to expect. But luckily, we were given bassinet seats, with 4 empty chairs in a row and with handrests that could be pushed upwards, (meaning ample space for the little gal to roam ard) from SIN to BKK.

Unfortunately, the ride back was bad. Thank God it was only a 2 hr journey and not more. We were supposedly given bassinet seats only to find out that it wasn't! Justy 3seats in a front row with bigger legroom and someone has occupied one of em! This old selfish angmoh fella didn't even budge when wan had to squeeze in to the seat beside him. He was all the way comfortable in his reclined position with legs wide open! And worse of all Sofea had no space to play and thus the melt-down. She cried the whole cabin down and refused to latch. I had to carry her into the tiny toilet to do so. Oh well, next plane ride, i'm will be more prepared.

But what is certain is that there'll be many more holidays for our little missy here and hope she can understand and appreciate them as she grows up :)
